God’s Hope Still Abounds

Happy Monday, everyone!

Last week was historic as we saw the nations of North and South Korea coming together peacefully to have diplomatic discussions about denuclearization.  To be honest, it was a scene that most of us believed we would never see.  Only in Hollywood can such a turnaround happen, right?

Well, if we truly know the God we serve, we know that hope always abounds.  Regardless of this meeting happening last week, regardless of what comes from it, hope still abounds.

The point is, let the scene be a reminder of God's ability at work.  Don't let your politics or personal feelings towards the president affect your sight.  It's important not to miss the spiritual implications of seeing God at work in our world.  Be reminded that our focus should always be on the hope we have in Christ.  Only then, will our minds function at their highest and most stable capacity.

"Therefore, preparing your minds for action, and being sober-minded, set your hope fully on the grace that will be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ." 1 Peter 1:13
