Happy Monday! There's nothing better than having a testimony of how Jesus Christ came into your life and saved you! Its always encouraging to hear other people's testimony stories. I have found that no matter what the circumstances are, the story of a changed life for Christ is always awesome.
It's amazing getting to see people in the spotlight that have a testimony for Christ, especially when they are using their platform to talk about it. Now that it's September, and Fall is just around the corner, I find myself gearing up for some of my favorite things.....autumn weather, pumpkin, bonfires, and sports!
Fall is a great sports season! We've got playoff baseball and the start of the football. I love it! But its not just the games that I enjoy seeing, it is the plethora of athletes that align themselves with Jesus Christ that really fire me up. Guys like Derek Carr of the Oakland Raiders, Clayton Kershaw of the Los Angeles Dodgers, and Albert Pujols of the Los Angeles Angels are among the biggest stars in their sport. At the same time, they also all profess Christ as Savior. Take a few minutes and Google their names. It won't take you long to read stories and testimonies of their passionate faith.
I am Second videos have been around for several years. Many athletes and celebrities have taken to the "white chair" to share their testimonies and stories. Today, I thought I'd share one that specifically hits close to home, as it is of a recently retired athlete that played near my home. It's Mike Fisher of the Nashville Predators. Mike has a great story, and I encourage you to kick off your week being blessed by the work God has done in his life!
