Not because I have nothing to say, but because I’m learning when to listen.
In a world of rage-bait, hot takes, and algorithm-fed echo chambers, it takes real wisdom to step back, quiet the noise, and pray before we react. Not every argument deserves your breath. Not every headline deserves your heart.
The Bible says,
“Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to become angry.” James 1:19
Silence isn’t weakness. It’s discipline.
It’s choosing prayer over outrage.
Reflection over reaction.
Peace over performance.
Before you post, comment, or fire back, pause.
Ask God for clarity.
Let Him filter what the world is trying to feed you.
Sometimes the most spiritual thing you can do is log off… and listen.
I share this because I have had enough of the division. Hate is being spewed from all corners and sides. We think the ability to share to the masses makes us experts. All its done is exposed how much we don't now and how much we are bots for whatever echo chamber our algorithm has trapped us in.
