Put It On

"Put It On" tells a story. If you watch closely, you see the progression of an average adult day. Intertwined throughout the day are images of faith, prayer, and God's Word. Each day will be filled with busyness and distraction. Each day, we're in a spiritual battle.

"Put It On" is about putting on the armor for battle. The images of faith are reminders that God is involved with every aspect of our day and we should fully know His involvement, constantly seeking Him for wisdom and strength. If we don't work to give God glory in all we do, we'll go to bed feeling empty, even after a day in which we accomplish a lot of earthly things.

We need to suit up with the armor of God (Ephesians 6:11) and clothe ourselves with God's love.

Put on then, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience, bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive. And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony. Colossians 3:12-14

Most of the songs/videos from Quarantine Club are about feeling. The visuals show the mood of the music. "Whitecap Escape" invokes feelings of relaxation and holiday. "Renegade" invokes feelings of adventure, danger, and energy. "Brooklyn Bust" invokes feelings of being in an exciting and busy city. It was inspired by my many trips into NYC since living in NY. "8-Bit" invokes feelings of nostalgia, especially when it comes to 80's arcade and video games.

"Late to Church" and "Life in Reverse" are both fun family videos. In fact, Karis helped me create "Life in Reverse".

Please check out the Quarantine Club playlist. Play it while you drive, cook, or hang out by the pool!

And, by the way, I still have three more songs to upload into the playlist this week. Stay tuned!!
