My New Book Tackles the 90s, Awkward Middle School Years, and Identity

I'm in the process of publishing my second book, Happy Himself.  The book will be available on Amazon for e-readers and as a paperback too.

My kids were the inspiration in helping me write this book.  I told my children "Happy" stories before bed for many years.  The stories revolved around Happy Bowman and his group of neighborhood friends.  They focus frequently on childhood innocence and nostalgia, and in this new book the story combines to tell a "coming of age" tale.

This is a great book for kids, especially preteens.  However, it will be a fun read for adults too.  It takes place in the 1990s, so the reminiscing will be aplenty!

Think about DIARY OF A WIMPY KID with a SPIRITUAL ANGLE meeting the early 90s.  That's where you'll see "Happy Himself" land.  There are many biblical truths spelled out.  In fact, I wrote each chapter in a way that parents could use the content to illustrate biblical principles.  Specifically, things like honesty, integrity, hope, self-control, humility, love, selflessness, kindness, and identity are touched on.

Please keep posted!  I will let you know when it is available to buy!
